Program Description
The Three Brains at Work: How HR Leaders and Employees Can Improve Decision-Making, Engagement, and Culture

Every workplace decision engages more than just rational thought. This interactive session introduces HR professionals to the Three Brains framework—head, heart, and gut—and how each plays a distinct role in judgment, communication, and leadership behavior. Participants will explore how overreliance on one “brain” contributes to burnout, disengagement, and stalled decision-making, while integrated intelligence supports trust, clarity, and cultural health. HR leaders will leave with a practical, neuroscience-informed model they can use immediately in coaching conversations, talent decisions, and organizational development work.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Identify the distinct roles of head, heart, and gut intelligence in workplace decision-making, behavior and feelings of self-worth.

  2. Apply the Three Brains framework to improve clarity, confidence in HR-related decisions and conversations.

  3. Facilitate simple practices that help employees integrate cognitive, emotional, and intuitive awareness at work to help reduce the chances of burnout.
