Speaker Bio

Ms. Carver is a powerhouse with over 30 years of experience in facilitating personal and professional development workshops. As an entrepreneur, she founded, managed, and successfully sold her own accredited proprietary business school (Abbie Business Institute). Currently, she leads Merlin & Associates, a boutique training consultancy. As a motivating course leader with the Association for Talent Development (ATD), she helps people become a learner-centric facilitator who recognizes and can apply effective facilitation skills and techniques. She is also a Career Coach for active-duty military and veterans. Ms. Carver's passion for teaching and her ability to connect with diverse audiences make her a sought-after expert in her field. She has an MBA from Frostburg State University and BS in Business Education from U of MD, College Park. She lives in Ijamsville with 9 exotic parrots.
