Program Description
Virtual and hybrid teams are as much as 3x more likely to engage in backstabbing, gossip, undermining, passive aggression, etc. Unfortunately, the workplace will never return to "normal." Fortunately, it is possible to build relationships, teamwork, and culture in a hybrid world. It just takes more effort.
In this engaging, interactive presentation, participants will learn strategies they can use to reconnect with their co-workers, and build communication, teamwork, and culture in a hybrid world. The presentation uses a real-time survey, data, and group discussion to uncover the real-life challenges facing the participants. Customized to the needs, real-life challenges, and personal objectives of the participants, this presentation involves participants to build connection and community.
This will be a meaningful, engaging, and interactive presentation where we will explore the unique dynamics of hybrid teams, identify common communication pitfalls, and discover actionable techniques for fostering trust, collaboration, and a sense of belonging.
Learning Objectives:
-
Understand how to read body language in virtual meetings, communicate expectations around cultural norms, connect with co-workers on Zoom, and other effective strategies.
-
Understand how to identify employees’ communication needs and expectations.
-
Understand tools and strategies to improve communication and to build culture in virtual and hybrid workplaces.
-
Develop actionable plans to improve communication, collaboration, and trust within their teams.
-
Foster a sense of community and connection across differences.
